Bose have had a policy of not supplying spares to the service industry for many years. They insist on all headsets being returned to them for repair. This is not always convienient and often involves long delays and high cost. The X model is no longer supported and some complete assemblies for the A20 are no longer being manufactured. We are able to cover small repairs to these headsets but if model specific parts are needed then we have to involve their UK service division. You can deal with them directly or we can cover this for you as we have a service account that will speed things up. Please contact us for the latest information on the situation. Be assured we will always do our best to help.
We can still cover some work on the Bose X model. The A20 model sometimes needs to be returned for service. Sadly as a direct result of Tarriffs the supply of Bose spares has been severely disrupted as they all come from the USA, but of course mostly they are made in China! Advice to owners of these headsets is be prepared to wait for a repair.
Lightspeed are another company that will not supply spares or service information to the trade. They also insist their headsets are returned to them for service. This process can be lengthy and expensive and the earlier serial numbers of the Zulu are no longer supported at all. They will offer a discount on a new headset but often you can find a better deal on the web. We have a service account with them and can process a repair for you or you can deal direct. We can sometimes fit reclaimed parts to effect a repair, this depends on whats required.
